During the weekend of 19-21 March 2021 Andorra will be home of the 2021 World Triathlon Winter Championships.
For the first time, Andorra welcomes the ITU (International Triathlon Union) World Triathlon Winter Championships. This event will take place in la Rabassa, 2000 m above the sea level, a breath-taking natural setting, in south of Andorra, nestled within the mighty Pyrenees.
The world’s elite in the sport will combine the disciplines of running, mountain biking and cross-country skiing across a beautiful winter landscape to decide the best winter triathlon athletes.
Participants of each corresponding national federation, will have to complete 7.6 km of running, 12 km of mountain biking and 12 km of cross-country skiing. The competition includes several categories.
This sport event is part of the Andorra Multisport Festival, which features a total of five sports competitions, run by The Ironman Group:
