Caldea the largest thermal spa in a mountain area in Southern Europe, was inaugurated in 1994 and is designed to allow visitors to escape and enjoy a wellness experience in thermal waters that are full of contrasts. The building, with its unique architecture, is situated in the urban environment of Escaldes-Engordany, while simultaneously being surrounded by the spectacular Andorran mountains.
Caldea offers the ability to regain balance and vitality thanks to the rich range of thermal water properties. Hot geothermal sources, rich in sulfur, calcium, sodium, potassium, magnesium and iron are an excellent panacea for many medical conditions, including: allergies or pain. The 30,345 m² centre offers a diverse and wide range of SPA services under one roof, returning to the practices and rituals tried and tested throughout generations. Under a glass dome, with about 6,000 m² of water space, Caldea offers its visitors many attractions.
